I started at Inner Balance Pilates nearly 12 months ago. I was a little nervous walking into a room not knowing what to expect, but it was fun & I become confident within the first couple of classes. Alana & Gayle are passionate about teaching correct technique and educate you during each class for maximum benefit, targeting all areas of the body. Each class is a little different & you can work through them at your own pace & level. Strengthening is the key for me for general health & to help with prevention of any potential injury. IBP is honestly helping me transform my life! I have MS and have limitations with what I can/can’t do, primarily with balance activities and lower body strength work. Even within a group class, Alana and Gayle will personalise my workout based on my abilities, which is soooo wonderful and helps me work within my own limits. I cannot speak highly enough of Alana and her crew. Before beginning at Inner Balance Pilates I was suffering from 2 slipped discs and in a lot of pain daily. So many people recommended IBP to me and I'm so glad I finally gave it a go. After the birth of my first child, Alana's mums and bubs reformer classes helped me get reacquainted with my body and really kick-started my journey back to health, strength and confidence. The classes are so warm and welcoming and cater for all abilities. The sessions are always varied and class sizes kept small so you never feel left behind or unsure as you get the attention you need.
